    HANA Cloud Integration or HCI is SAP’s cloud-based integration platform that serves as a starting point for integration projects. It offers pre-packaged integration content to facilitate the integration of heterogeneous IT systems. HCI supports Cloud to Cloud, Cloud to On-premise, On-premise to On-premise and Hybrid model integrations.

    • To access SAP HCI, you need to first ensure that your HCI Service is Active.
    • Login to the HCP Account and go to the Tenant where you can see your HCP Integration Services enabled.
    • On the SAP HANA Cloud Platform Cockpit window, below the “Subscriptions” option, you need to ensure that the Application ending with “____tmn” is active.
    • Click on that to view the details of the subscribed application.
    • From that window, you need to select a Role to perform any development activity.
    • Assign the Role as Administrator and IntegrationDeveloper to make the changes.
    • After performing all these steps, you can access the URLs – Web URL, Management URL, and Run-time URL.
    • Clicking on Web URL, you will be able to see your Customer Workspace with options to Discover, Design, Monitor, and Settings.
    • Next, you can create and assemble artifacts such as integration flows into a package. You can also copy pre-packaged integration content into your workspace and customize it based on your requirements
    • You can then configure and deploy your integration package after evaluation.

It is a component of the NetWeaver product group that is used to facilitate information exchange between a company’s internal and external software systems, including third-party applications. Since it mediates between entities with varying requirements in terms of connectivity, format, and protocols, PI is often called as an integration broker.

SAP (PO) Process Orchestration is a tool to automate and optimize business processes. It combines features of SAP Business Process Management (BPM), SAP Process Integration (PI), and SAP Business Rules Management (BRM).
