Skill set requirement

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

– 4+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.

– Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, Social Media, and Email marketing.

– Strong understanding of the SaaS industry, customer lifecycle, and buyer personas.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

– Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.

– Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.

– Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Roles and responsibilities

Product Positioning & Messaging:

– Develop and refine product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target audiences.

– Collaborate with product management and sales teams to ensure alignment on product features, benefits, and competitive differentiators.

 

Go-to-Market Strategy:

– Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases.

– Identify target customer segments and create tailored marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and adoption.

 

Digital Marketing:

– SEO: Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase conversion rates.

– PPC: Manage and optimize PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media networks to maximize ROI.

– Social Media: Develop and execute social media strategies to build brand awareness, engage with the audience, and drive traffic to the website and product pages.

– Email Marketing: Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote products, and increase customer retention.

 

Content Development:

– Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos that support product marketing initiatives.

– Ensure all content aligns with the overall product marketing strategy and is optimized for SEO.

 

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

– Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

– Analyze competitors’ products, pricing, and marketing strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation.

 

Sales Enablement:

– Provide the sales team with the tools, resources, and training they need to effectively sell the product.

– Create sales collateral, product demos, and presentations that communicate the product’s value proposition.

 

Performance Tracking & Optimization:

– Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and product performance.

– Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.

 

Collaboration & Communication:

– Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, customer success, and engineering to ensure cohesive product marketing efforts.

– Regularly communicate marketing plans, progress, and results to stakeholders and leadership.
