Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews to understand pain points, needs and opportunities
- Work through sitemaps, user journeys and workflows, from beginning to end, translating insights into ideas to create new products and features.
- Wireframing/ Sketching and prototyping these ideas to quickly assess viability, and designing detailed interaction behaviors
- Serve as the voice of the customer and act as a customer experience advocate when considering design decisions
- Collaborate with multiple functional specialists such as designers, developers to create deliverables
Skills
- The ability to empathize with end users and understand their pains and needs
- Knowledge of user-centered design and design thinking
- The ability to conduct good user research through interviews with end users and business owners
- Experience with preparing sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes and prototypes for web and mobile applications
- The ability to explain complex concepts and ideas to clients and colleagues
- The ability to explain UX and UI concepts to folks from different backgrounds
- Strong analytical skills
- Have a good sense of visual design and create appealing User Interfaces
- Expertise in standard UX software such as Figma,Adobe XD,Sketch, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Understanding of common software project management and development practices
Good to Have
- A portfolio demonstrating your ability to research and design
- Experience with working on AR/VR is a plus
